    School meals

Our school meal service is provided by Chartwells and the cost is £2.41 per meal, which includes a cooked meal and a dessert.

Families can book meals via ParentPay (booking by midnight on the Sunday).

Children in EYFS, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to universal infant free school meals.  Be aware, you still need to book these meals on Parent Pay, but there will be no charge.

Families in receipt of certain benefits can apply for income-related free school meals.  Visit Cornwall Council's website to find out if your child is eligible and to apply.

    Free breakfast club

Carclaze CP School is part of the government’s new breakfast club early adopters’ scheme, which means that we can provide pupils with a healthy and nutritious breakfast, free of charge.

The breakfast club is available each day from 8.05am until 8.35am (start of the school day). Be aware, you need to book a place for your child on Parent Pay, but there will be no charge.

    Heathy packed lunches

We encourage all families to provide healthy, balanced packed lunches that give children the energy and nutrition they need to learn, play, and thrive throughout the school day.

A well-packed lunch supports concentration, wellbeing, and healthy habits for life.

Here are some tips, ideas, and guidance to help you create tasty and nutritious lunches your child will enjoy.
